The Purpose of the Kingdom
The Kingdom reveals God’s desire for relationship and partnership with mankind. Matthew 25:34 emphasizes this invitation: “Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” God’s Kingdom is a gift, prepared out of His love and sovereignty.
Biblical Illustration: The Parable of the Talents
The parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) teaches us to steward God’s resources wisely, reflecting Kingdom principles of responsibility and fruitfulness. Each servant’s faithfulness (or lack thereof) impacted their participation in the Kingdom.
